I’ve had the opportunity to live in San Antonio and serve at Our Savior for the past six years. I’ve always been curious, and I love hearing people’s life stories- both the up’s and the down’s. I also love being able to share how God is with us and for us no matter what we’re going through. I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Perhaps the most unique thing about this training is its intense focus on the biblical languages- Greek and Hebrew. My ministry has taken me from a small congregation in Wasilla, Alaska to teaching religion and Latin and coaching football at a Christian high school in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area of Minnesota. Since 2016 I’ve had the privilege of calling Our Savior my church family, which has given me the opportunity to preach, teach, and be a part of our community, especially around the central campus (across from the Cody Library on Vance Jackson).
I’m blessed to be married to Sara. We have five children and love living in north San Antonio. We have three daughters (Meredith, Emily, and Norah) and two sons (Eli and Jack).
One of our favorite things to do as a family is to camp and be outdoors, especially in the mountains. Throughout our marriage, we’ve camped all over the US, including Big Bend National Park and Garner State Park here in TX. We try to head west to Colorado and New Mexico when we get the chance. We also enjoy the beach in Corpus Christi and Port Aransas.
